Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1Corinthians 16:9, 1 John 1:7, Psalm 133, Ephesians 6

All phases of our life have joy if Jesus is there! The new year may not be a great thing if you will bring junk of this world into it! Come out and be separate from the world! Once your're saved the world will avoid you. Get to church and into fellowship more often! There is happiness in fellowship! Joy in Christ! The battle starts when you stand on the truth of his word! If your focus is on nowhere that is where you may end up.

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Isaiah, Luke 2:, Matthew 26:39, Hebrews 10, 2 Tim 4:8

Don't let all the things of Christmas take away from Christ, His birth, His life and the cross. We are to be in the likeness of Jesus! Each of us! Let others see Christ in you! Be peculiar! Be prepared! Be ready with an answer! Talk about the joy of this season! Talk about the joy in your life! My savior is at the right hand of the Father! We can all be redeemed!

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Acts 2, Ephesians 2

Satan does not want us to have good relations in the church making us useless. There is value in open relationships! We've got to continue to share our faith and lives! Trust is something we don't throw around but it is necessary to trust someone!

Sunday December 3, 2006

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Romans 12:9, Hebrews 13:16

We have accountability in our lives. Financial, Occupational, Educational, Spiritual and Relational just to name a few. Share your joys and sorrows with someone. Joy multiplies when you share it! Sorrow divides when you share it! Let others rejoice with you and when you share a sorrow others help us carry that burden. If all things are permissible in a church body there is no accountability. Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good.

Sunday November 26, 2006

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Joshua 24, Romans 12, John 13

I pray you have been received well into this church. Remind yourself to keep from holding your guard up. Your Father in heaven takes care of your protection. Do your best to serve Him all the days of your life. We don't compare ourselves to other churches. We compare ourselves to Jesus to see if we are an example of Him. Unguarded, unprotected relationships within this church are good. If we sin so much we feel like we can't come into the house of God; Stop the sin! Serve Him, Love the brethren, Be passionate about serving Him! Spiritual maturity cannot be forced! It is by personal choices made! Three important decisions today; Receiving Him, Rejecting Him, Delay in receiving Him, which is disguised rejection of Him.

Sunday November 19, 2006

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1 Corinthians, Joshua

God gives direction for our lives! Sometimes plants in a greenhouse get attacked internally and externally. There must be spiritual growth in unity! Seek out what God has for you! Satan would have us believe when we make a poor choice there is no turning around. Sin has to go! We don't stand in judgement of each other but sin, not people, has to go from the body of Christ! When one cell in our body goes crazy it becomes disease! A cancer! Obedience is the key to preservation! Our salvation!

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1John, Colosians 3:12, Psalm 31, Joshua 20

Where do we turn in times of trouble? Fear of rejection, shame and judgement keep us from reaching out to the church when we stumble. How many of us feel like a broken vessel and could not be used anymore. If you cannot trust, how trustworthy are you? Guilt accuses us, drains us, and misunderstandings can detroy us. Satan will capitalize on our inability to protect the privacy of someone which confides in us causing isolation.

Reference 1Corinthians 13:, 1John 4:8

Love is essential for us. No matter what is said or is done to you, authentic love will have you react in a loving way. Authentic love speaks truth in kindness and does not expect a return in the investment. Authentic love breaks down the superficial walls of selfishness. You can callous yourself to where you don't think you care anymore. Hatred is not the opposite of Love, it is indifference.

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1Corinthians 12:26, Proverbs 18, Joshua 7, Matthew 18:15-17

Why does our Christian Fellowship break down? Sickness, burnout and exhaustion, turmoil in the home which may include finances or sin. Proverbs 18:19 says "A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle." Want to restore a broken relationship? Acknowledge something is wrong, Never assume they'll get over it, determine who is all involved, restore fellowship. In all cases conflicts won't heal themselves and the longer we wait the worse it gets. Solutions are painful but necessary.

Sunday October 22, 2006

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1Corinthians, Act, Joshua 7

Christians must maintain the focus on relationships when errors and sin occur. Why do relationships and fellowship break down? When one suffers we all suffer! Perhaps sickness, exhaustion and burnout, turmoil in your home, disobedience to God or comprimise to sin. We can face these things together and we are here for a specific reason.

October 15, 2006

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Joshua 6:20-25, Ephesians 4:11, James 4

We get unsettled and frightened of different things and changes. Doing things differently can cause disunity! There can still be unity in our differences so long as different still glorifies God! New things aren't sin simply because we have always done it that way! If God tells us to do something there is a reason for it! Simply obey! When God gives us direction it may be a new thing!

You can trust in Almighty God! There is unity in the church in placing trust in Him and directing prayers to Him! Unity is not just meeting here on Sunday! It's about having a community of believers. We don't create unity! It is already here! We simply sustain unity! Being humble is not in our nature. We need to be humble to serve one another and friction comes form poor relationships.

Take confidence in this; Nothing can be hid from God. Continuing in sin because there is no repercussion. Be sure your sins will find you out! However many times you get away with a wrong doesn't make it ok. Be sure your sins will find you out! Look at yourself! Who you are, is who you are when you are by your self. Even everything you say will be reviewed and proclaimed one day. We know all our sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus. We don't take him for granted and continually and willfully sin.

Christ first loved me so I could love you. Love your neighbor! Give the gospel of Jesus! If I see a brother hurting I should go to him and help. We will always have peace in him! Remember you are a steward for God and all is his. Think about peace. The more you think about others and take the focus off yourself, you can draw closer to Christ through our love for each other.

Satan is a believer and you won't see him in heaven! When you see a brother or sister in sin bring it to their attention! Are all the little sins a big deal? Little lies, little stealing? Be sure to keep all honesty and truth in your life and mind! Change your mind! Renew your mind day by day! Start your day in fellowship with God's word! Hear, read and live the word of God!

Dr Kenneth Eagleton delivered today's message. Click to enlarge. see photo gallery Go to photo Gallery.
His new missionary assignment, along with his wife Rejane, is to Brazil in the city of Capinas.

He spoke of Christ's global church and his previous work as a medical doctor and evangelist in West Africa. His work was in Ivory Coast wich is seeing much violence and all missionaries were evacuated a few years ago. They returned to their abandoned home in 2005 and all their possessions were still intact and recovered. The churches also are still intact in that country and thriving.

The new assignment is to the First Free Will Baptist Church of Campinas. There is also another church seeing great increases in number, the Second Free Will Baptist Church of Campinas.

He asked us to pray for new mission churches in Nova America, Ouro Verde, and for the Bible School becoming a Bible Institute, Pastors, Eagleton family. He asked us to give to missions accounts and the Campinas Vision Fund. He asked us to go and consider a missions career or temporary missions work or trip for youth and music ministry.

He preached from Matthew 28 and 2Timothy 2
Ecouraging us not to sit on our learning of the gospel but to teach it to others.

The Prodigal Son

The young son longed to be away from where he was and away from his father's watchful eye. A body of believers are dependent upon on another and Jesus. Independence makes us alone. Being unaccountable to anyone is lonely and separates us. Being accountable to our father is right!

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 1Peter 5:10, James 1:3, Heberews 10:35, Phillippians 1:8, 1John 3:18

We rush in with rash desicions and God may be saying slow down. How do we respond to a situation that comes up. We need to take an active roll in reaching the lost! When we are unsure about what steps to take we need to listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit. Be patient and prayerful; Yes! pray without ceasing. Be a positive thinker! Think on things true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report! Love in your deeds not so much in words. Be productive, be involved. Patience is doing something else in the mean time while waiting for an answer. One direction is to feed, cloth and give water to those in need. Caring for physical need.

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Exodus 20, Amos 3, 1Tim 5, Genesis 2

The definiton of marriage changed from the 1905 dictionary to the 1950s dictionary. Marriage is again on the way to being redfined by nations. It was an institution established by God an His definition is not going to change. We must prepare for marriage mentally and physically, mind and body. Following God's word will prepare and bless your life and marriage. Salvation and a desire to follow God's word should precede a Godly union in marriage. Being unequally yoked doesn't work in business or in marriage. Hard times, good times God has a plan for you!

Communion is a memorial. Jesus told us to remember. Remember the day you brought all your cares to the alter. Remember that sacrifice made for us through Jesus. We are buried with him into death. We should walk in the glory of the father in newness of life. Stay on fire by remembering. The excitement gets better all the time. Focus on your relationship with Christ. Other relationships will be ok when you're ok with God. Ask Jesus to direct your conversation.

If you cant love your neighbor you can't love God were the lyrics sang by the Bakers last week. By one man's disobedience many wee made sinners. By the obedience of one many shall be made righteous. Satan uses our sensitivity against us with our pride. We must be obedient to the Holy Spirit. Live publicly a Christian life and glorify him. Disobedience brought sin to all of us through Adam's disobedience. You must believe or be condemned. God said let us reason together. Be Holy in all manner of conversation, in speech and actions. Be Holy for I am Holy.

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference 2Kings 1-14, John 15:22, Proverbs 13:15

Naaman the leper, like all sinners is unclean. From birth, we like Naaman are marked for death. If we submit ourselves to Jesus and believe we can be cleansed of sin. Elisha gave Naaman a simple answer through a messenger to wash seven times in Jordan. He got angry and was wroth because the message wasn't directly from Elisha and it was too simple. Our cure for sin is simple. Believe in Jesus. Believe meaning to rely upon and trust in him.

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference Romans 1, 1John 13, Phillipians 3

We don't judge one another, we simply love one another. Homosexuality, like all sin, can be confessed to Jesus and you repent. That is to turn around from sin. No sin is acceptable as a lifestyle. If it is acceptable to you, you become a part of that sin. God's word is truth. Be doers of the word not hearers only. Obey the word of God and live! Look at your life! Look and yourself! Repent of every sin! Turn around from all sin!

Pastor's Message Excerpts

The greatest words to man are "Christ is risen." With salvation comes complete change and the formation of a new creature. You must look at your own life! Not the life of someone else! Have you returned to the old ways before your conversion? Jesus can sustain you as a new creature. There is no reason to worry about your work, your life or who you are in society. There is no peace in these things but in Jesus only! Walk in the light as He is in the light.

Pastor's Message Excerpts

Jesus was submissive to God the Father. We have the choice not to be. Wives don't have to be submissive to their own husbands. We have choices and simply need to follow the examples Jesus sets for us. The example Jesus sets for us in many areas of life simply work! Satan wants you to be unsubmissive and full of pride and self! The two going for the colt were submissive to do the will of Jesus. The extra step was concern for his comfort and layed their own coats on the the animal for Jesus.

Brother Wes Radtke of Denham fwb church >map brought today's message. Thanks to him and his family for coming to worship with us today.

Speak a kind word to someone today! Don't spend your days fulfilling the lusts of the flesh! As God's people we know where true power comes from. It's certainly not from the world but the Kingdom of God! Let your light shine bright! We have much more than the world can offer! Jesus is the true vine! Not the world! It's not a Free Will Baptist vine from where fruit comes! He made the point right away in John 15 that He is the vine! If you are not serving God you are serving Satan! Abide in God's Spirit! Go to sleep at night with Jesus on your mind! Eat with Jesus on your mind! We will want to tell the world about Him!

Pastor's Message Excerpts
Reference John 1:18, Romans 5

You do not change naturally! You change supernaturally! You can see him in creation, nature and in changed lives. Changed lives are proof of God. No man has ever see God at any time. Jesus is the bosom of the Father. The historical events of Jesus are fact. Do they prove God? No. God is because he is God. He is without signs and miracles. Christ died for the ungodly. How does he reveal himself to you? Come to him as a child. People; be narrow minded! In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

Selfishness vs Stewardship

Reference Jeremiah 45:5, 1Corinthians 6:9-11

Selfishness steals everything away from you! Satan wants you to think "me first." Share your

burdens with God! Hanging on to your burdens is selfishness! Divine grace of salvation and

spiritual strength lose their grip when the sin of selfishness comes into our lives. Anything we gain

which is a result of selfish scheming will be loss.
